The Beas Kund Trek will take you through some of the prettiest sceneries and captivating sights to capture an elevation of 12,772 ft. At this height, a small glacial lake, fed by the melting snow of the higher peaks of the region awaits your visit. This trek is suitable for all age groups and no trekking experience is required to do it, hence everyone is welcomed.
The trek will begin with reaching Manali and having the day at leisure and acclimatizing. Enough part of the day will be kept free for you so you can spend it shopping for necessary gears. The trekking expedition will begin on the second day when a 12 KM long drive will take you from Manali to Solang Nalla. Solang Nalla being the basecamp for the trek will enthrall you with its explicit beauty and eye-catching serenity. As you reach Bakarthach after a 13 KM long trek, the striking beauty awaits you. Day three will finally take you to Beas Kund after a 6 KM long trek, wherein you will get to catch the contrasting sight of a peaceful water body nestled between jagged mountain peaks. You will also come across the Beas Kund Glacier while advancing towards Beas Kund. Pluck the wild strawberries and mushrooms on your way and lazily watch herds of sheep and goats grazing. Day four will be full of descending where you will be trekking from Bakarthach to Dhundi and then drive to Manali through Solang.
